In the wake of Planned Parenthood's fetal organ scandal, MSNBC's Joe Scarborough repeated what many pro-life advocates have long claimed: That the American press is biased in favor of abortion.
The press' deep-seated pro-abortion bias has long prevented it from covering the issue fairly, including it's apparently underwhelming response to a series of undercover videos showing Planned Parenthood executives discussing reimbursement for organs salvaged from the bodies of aborted children, Scarborough remarked Friday.
"You know, I got to say of all the areas where I think there is media bias, I think the greatest area is on this issue," he said. "I think most reporters do the best job they can do and they try to be as fair as possible."
"But when it come to the issue of abortion, there is the greatest built-in bias. And it is completely cultural bias, it is unintended," he added.
He continued, suggesting that things would likely be far different were it a right-wing group in the spotlight.
"[I]f the roles were reversed … there is a group on the right doing what Planned Parenthood has done on the Left and is described on the Left, there would be Justice Department — there would be indictments already going down," he added.
