MSNBC thought it important to correct a rhetorical claim from Donald Trump with a passive on-air graphic while the channel broadcasted one of his campaign rallies.

Trump, speaking Thursday in Manchester, N.H., said Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton is "hiding," a comment he and his running-mate Mike Pence have made several times on the campaign trail as a reference to her aversion to holding press conferences.

As MSNBC covered the rally, a graphic appeared on the screen that said, "Trump: Clinton is hiding (speaking next hour)."

Clinton was actually set to begin her own rally in Reno, Nev., after Trump had begun his.

MSNBC's graphic was similar to ones CNN has been using, also to fact-check Trump's comments.

Two weeks ago, CNN used one that said, "Trump calls Obama founder of ISIS (He's not)."
