Nearly two-thirds of Bernie Sanders supporters say they believe the Democratic primary process was rigged.

But less than half of his supporters, 37 percent, think the Vermont senator would have won the nomination if it had been a fair race, according to a Fox News national poll released Wednesday night.

Following the leaking of 20,000 Democratic National Committee emails that showed Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz had favored Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, 37 percent of Democrats polled July 31-Aug. 2 think the party's primary process was rigged in her favor compared to 61 percent of Sanders supporters.

Fifty-six percent of all registered voters believe the Democrats rigged the system to ensure Clinton won the nomination last week in Philadelphia.

The telephone survey had a 3 percent margin of error.
