A 68-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint and bound with duct tape in a home invasion Monday afternoon in the Cabin John area, Montgomery County police said.

Two men broke into the man's home on the 7400 block of Arden Lane through a back door at about 1 p.m., said Capt. Paul Starks, a Montgomery County police spokesman.

The men asked the man for duct tape and restrained the victim, Starks said. They took items from the house and left through the back door. Starks wouldn't say what was taken. He said investigators believe the attack was not random.

The victim wasn't hurt and no one else was in the home at the time.

The two suspects are described as white men in their late teens. They both had thin builds and were about 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall.
