INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — First lady Michelle Obama is scheduled to raise money in Indianapolis next week for her husband's re-election campaign.
She's set to appear at Lucas Oil Stadium on Aug. She cancelled plans last month after the mass shootings at a Colorado movie theater.
President Barack Obama was a constant presence in Indiana through the 2008 campaign as he fought late into the spring to secure the Democratic nomination. Obama later became the first Democrat to win a presidential race in Indiana since Lyndon B. Johnson.
