Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell’s schedule is certainly packed with the General Assembly in session – but he will make the trek across the Potomac to testify before a House committee Wednesday.

McDonnell will testify before the U.S. House Committee on Education and the Workforce in a hearing titled “State of the American Workforce” to talk about one of his pet issues – job creation.

McDonnell will also deliver the commencement address at the University of Virginia’s prestigious-sounding 182nd “Final Exercises” in May, the university announced Tuesday.
