Matt Drudge, editor of the influential right-leaning Drudge Report, took a shot at NBC "Meet the Press" host Chuck Todd on Sunday morning by accusing NBC of appearing to paint a logo for the show on a wall that surrounds the White House.

"Strange set at NBC News with graphics that tag 'Meet the Press' graffiti on White House wall," Drudge wrote in a message on Twitter, accompanied by an image of Todd on the set of his show. "Who owns who?"

A source close to "Meet the Press" told the Washington Examiner media desk that they weren't "totally sure" what to make of the remark.

Todd, a well-liked and respected journalist in Washington, did not return a request for comment from the Examiner media desk, but he has criticized Drudge's influence among political media in the past.

"There's no worse crime in journalism these days than simply deciding something's a story because Drudge links to it," Todd said in 2010.
