Conservative talk show radio host Mark Levin blasted President Obama for his nuclear weapons deal with Iran Tuesday, suggesting that the administration capitulated to an "Islamic Nazi regime" and in the process sealed the fate of the next generation.
"Barack Obama has planted the seeds, in my view, for World War III," said Levin. "Now they were already there, but he's moved it along. I honestly believe that the next massive conflagration — war — will be in the Middle East."
He said he believes that the Saudis and the Egyptians will now want to obtain nuclear weapons in response to the deal, and that President Obama has tarnished the efforts of previous administrations to limit the number of nations that have nuclear weapons.
"Despite all the yak yak, and all the technical language, there's no effective sanction regime here, there's no effective sanctions," said Levin. "You've got this Islamic Nazi regime. Death to America. Death to Israel. And they mean it."
Levin also knocked President Obama for his Tuesday reference to John F. Kennedy's negotiations with the Soviets as he touted the newly-minted deal with Iran.
"This deal is also in line with a tradition of American leadership," President Obama said. "It's now more than 50 years since President Kennedy stood before the American people and said, 'Let us never negotiate out of fear, but let us never fear to negotiate.' He was speaking then about the need for discussions between the United States and the Soviet Union, which led to efforts to restrict the spread of nuclear weapons."
Levin responded by pointing out the United States negotiated with the Soviets "because they had nukes. Not because they didn't. The Iranians don't have nukes today, but they will tomorrow."
According to Levin, a better way to deal with the Iranians would be to increase sanctions, not appease them.
"This is Munich — this is the 1930s," said Levin.
