A man with a knife started a fire and then began stabbing passengers on a Swiss train Saturday, killing a 34-year-old woman and seriously wounding five other passengers.
Officials suggested the attack did not appear to be terrorism. The suspect also died.
The assailant is a Swiss man, aged 27. The attack occurred in northeastern Switzerland, roughly half a mile from the border with Liechtenstein.
The train carriage was reportedly left covered in blood. The attacker was said to have been injured before being arrested and was currently at a local hospital for treatment.
In the past year, France, Germany and Belgium have all been rocked by a series of terror attacks.
