Montgomery County police are investigating a shooting death of a 22-year-old man near Wheaton High School early Wednesday in which the suspect later turned himself in to police.
Around 1 a.m., police responded to the sound of gunshots and received a call about a man with a gunshot wound. Police found the victim, who was already dead.
About an hour later, a 27-year-old walked into the police station at 2300 Randolph Road and claimed to be responsible for the killing.
