A Brooklyn man was sentenced Friday to 13 years in prison for transporting a teenage girl across state lines for prostitution.

Authorities say Marc Brickhouse was a pimp who held the girl against her will for three months and prostituted her for sex in hotels in Virginia, Maryland and New York.

In February, the girl ran away from a hotel and called police from a Babies R Us store.

Brickhouse pleaded guilty in May in U.S. District Court in Alexandria. He must also serve five years of supervised release.
