A man died after falling off a roof at a construction site in Anne Arundel County, officials said.

Tuesday morning, police and fire personnel responded to 1475 Dorsey Road in Hanover. An investigation found that 32-year-old Ismael Celestino Lopez-Rojas had climbed onto the roof of a three-story, under-construction condominium building to secure a safety-anchor when he is believed to have lost his footing.

Lopez-Rojas, of Frederick, was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said, and there is no evidence of foul play.
