A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of an acquaintance in Upper Marlboro.
Marcus Devon Reid, of Upper Marlboro, was arrested Thursday and charged with first degree murder, Prince George's County police said.
Shortly after midnight Tuesday, officers found 27-year-old Ishmael Boakye of Riverdale, lying on the ground in 10900 block of Woodlawn Boulevard. Police said that Boakye was fatally shot during an altercation with Reid.
