For the second time in four years, Hilary Lawson and Joseph Kim have teamed up to win the Maryland Mixed Two Ball. Lawson, a University of Maryland senior, and Kim, a Temple University senior, fired an alternate-shot, 6-under-par 65 to win by three strokes Tuesday at the Members Club at Four Streams.
Both players are members at Montgomery Village Country Club. When they won the 2007 title at Argyle, they shot 65, also for a three-shot win.
Lawson-Kim got out the gate quickly on Tuesday, making five birdies on the first eight holes.
Jeff Lim-Sharpe of Silver Spring, winner last week in the Maryland Public Links, teamed with Carly Hunt to shoot a 68, good for second place.
