This hasn't been a good August for Joe Simpson.

The former minister and dad to Ashley and Jessica Simpson was arrested on Aug. 4 after he blew .12 during a Breathalyzer test at a DUI checkpoint in Sherman Oaks, Calif.

Now, TMZ is reporting that the L.A. city attorney has filed two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence against Joe, 54.

If convicted on both counts, Papa Joe could face six months in jail, 36 months probation and a $1,000 fine.

He is scheduled to go before a judge later this month.

Ready to settle down

It looks like Jimmy Kimmel is ready to walk down the aisle again.

According to People magazine, the late-night talk show host, 44, proposed to his girlfriend of three years, Molly McNearney, 34.

Jimmy's rep confirmed the engagement but offered no details.

Jimmy and Molly started dating after the comic famously split with on-again, off-again girlfriend Sarah Silverman in 2009.

"After Jimmy and Sarah broke up, Molly and Jimmy both found themselves single, and they clicked," a source told People. "They're really happy together."

This will be the second time down the aisle for Jimmy and the first for Molly.

Wrong kind of comeback

Bad boy Bobby Brown has landed in rehab once again according to his new wife, Alicia Etheredge.

Bobby has had a long battle with alcohol addiction and Alicia tells RadarOnline that "he's doing great" in rehab, but failed to say exactly why the singer was there.

Bobby was married to the late Whitney Houston from 1992 to 2007.

Bobby has denied getting the pop diva involved with drugs and alcohol, but has admitted the pair used together during their marriage. Whitney had cocaine in her system when she was found dead on Feb. 11 from accidental drowning.
