ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — Icelandair has added Anchorage as a seasonal roundtrip destination.

The company says nonstop flights to Anchorage from its hub in Reykjavik, Iceland, will begin May 15.

Icelandair says in a news release that flights are planned twice a week until mid-September.

The airline already offers service to Iceland from Boston, New York, Seattle and Denver. Anchorage joins Washington, D.C.; Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minn.; Orlando, Fla.; Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Toronto with seasonal flights.
