HANCOCK, Md. (AP) — A ramp on Interstate 70 eastbound near Hancock was closed temporarily after a truck struck a guardrail and spilled ink.
Washington County emergency officials say the interstate was closed at Exit 3 near Hancock Thursday night as hazardous material crews cleaned the spill.
The Herald-Mail of Hagerstown reported (http://bit.ly/NO0F3Z) that the driver and a Hancock police officer were taken to a hospital as a precaution after coming in contact with the fluid, which was described as a cosmetic ink.
