Donald Trump has found an unlikely supporter for his claim that President Obama founded the Islamic State.
The leader of the Shiite terrorist group Hezbollah Hassan Nasrallah reportedly said of Trump's contention: "This is an American presidential candidate who is saying this. What he says is based on facts and documents."
Nasrallah, at a rally in south Lebanon on Saturday, claimed in May that the United States created the Islamic State to fight it and Israel's other enemies in the Middle East.
This week, Trump found himself embroiled in yet another controversy when he called President Obama is the "founder" of the Islamic State. He later said the claim meant to be sarcasm.
