CHICAGO (AP) — Grain prices mostly rose Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery rose 16.75 cents to $9.16 a bushel; December corn rose 12 cents to $8.2850 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $3.7725 a bushel; while November soybeans jumped 29.75 cents to $16.11 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle added 0.05 cent to $1.2572 a pound; October feeder cattle slipped 0.75 cent to $1.4070 a pound; while October lean hogs rose 0.98 cent to 76.60 cents a pound.
