CHICAGO (AP) — Grain prices either fell or were flat Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery jumped 13 cents to $8.78 a bushel; December corn rose 9.50 cents to $8.0525 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $3.7250 a bushel; while November soybeans rose 12.50 cents to $16.29 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle added 0.05 cent to $1.2515 a pound; October feeder cattle rose 0.48 cent to $1.4250 a pound; while October lean hogs slipped 0.57 cent to 77.65 cents a pound.
