Eric Greitens, the Republican candidate in Missouri's gubernatorial election, spent the majority of his new television ad shooting a massive machine gun in an effort to show voters he's got the "big guns" to take on the Obama administration and Democratic Party this November.

The 30-second video shows the former Navy SEAL shooting a massive machine gun for almost the entire clip while the narrator explains Greitens is not the kind of leader to succumb to campaign attacks from Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster, a former Republican who switched parties and won the Democratic nomination.

"Eric Greitens is under attack from Obama's Democrat machine. They're trying to steal another Missouri election," the narrator states. "But Eric Greitens is a conservative warrior and when he fights back he brings out the big guns."

Greitens, a former Democrat, said he was raised liberal by his parents, but changed his views as a result of serving in the military and starting a nonprofit organization in Missouri.

It's not the first time Greitens has relied on pro-Second Amendment voters to boost his campaign. In June, he released his first television ad, which featured him shooting a gun, but this new ad is an even stronger message to Democrats.

The Bronze Star and Purple Heart recipient won his GOP primary race last week, beating out three other candidates.
