George Zimmerman was assaulted by a stranger at a Florida restaurant on Sunday, according to a police report obtained by CBS affiliate WKMG late Thursday.

The Seminole County Sheriff's Office states Zimmerman had been eating with a group of people at Gators Riverside Grille in Stanford when he was recognized by an onlooker. The large man approached Zimmerman, who had been in the middle of discussing that fact that he fatally shot Trayvon Martin in self-defense.

The stranger asked Zimmerman, "You're bragging about that?"

The man walked away, but returned a few minutes later and asked Zimmerman why he had not left the restaurant. The man then allegedly punched Zimmerman in the face.

The suspect remains at large. The 911 call by Zimmerman is available here.

Zimmerman made national news in February 2012 when he fatally shot the African-American teen. He was later found not guilty of second-degree murder and manslaughter.
