First daughter Sasha Obama is spending part of her summer vacation learning about the restaurant industry from the ground up while working at a Seafood eatery in Martha's Vineyard, according to a report in the Boston Herald.

The 15-year-old younger sister of Malia has been working the takeout window at Nancy's, the busy Oak Bluffs restaurant this week, serving customers at the cash register and bussing dishes and preparing tables for the lunchtime crowd.

The contingent of six Secret Service agents, who are stationed in a suburban SUV outside the restaurant and were sitting around takeout benches, tipped off some patrons that Sasha had chosen Nancy's as a summer job.

"We were wondering why there were six people helping this girl, but then we found out who it was," the paper quoted a server at the island eatery. "She's been hosting, serving and working takeout. We're happy to have her. It will probably be good for business."

Nancy's, the paper says, is a favorite stop for the first family during their annual summer vacations to Martha's Vineyard, and the owner, Joe Moujabber, is reportedly friends with the Obamas.

One server told the paper that Sasha, who is going by her full name Natasha, showed up a few days ago and works an early four-hour shift, leaving a half hour after it opens for business at 11:30 a.m.

President Obama arrives for his two-week Vineyard vacation Saturday.
