Republican presidential hopeful Carly Fiorina has doubled down on her denunciation of Planned Parenthood – an organization she claims is "profiting on the death of the unborn while telling women it's about empowerment."

On Tuesday, the former CEO of Hewlett Packard released a video of herself and six pro-life leaders condemning the organization's "moral depravity" and encouraging Americans to put their attitudes toward abortion aside while questioning the direction of the country.

Undercover footage of a Planned Parenthood official admitting that the organization sells aborted babies' organs surfaced last week and immediately attracted outrage from a number of conservative groups and candidates. A second video of an employee attempting to haggle over the price of aborted fetuses was released Tuesday by the Center for Medical Progress, as reported by the Washington Examiner.

In her latest video, Fiorina accuses Planned Parenthood of behaving hypocritically by "telling women over and over and over again that their unborn children are not life and yet talking calmly about how to preserve the organs of that life to save another life."

"[Planned Parenthood is] denying women over and over again ultrasounds so that they can see the life they carry within them and yet using that same technology to make sure that organs are preserved so that they can be presumably sold to save others," she added.

According to Fiorina, Planned Parenthood's actions represent "a terrible moment [that] is made even more terrible by the absolute deafening silence of the Democrat Party." In keeping with her characteristic criticism of democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton, she noted that Clinton "has fought to preserve" democratic policies which "say an [unborn child] is not a life until it leaves the hospital."

Fiorina says Americans "now have a moment to take action" and should support a moratorium on federal funding for Planned Parenthood. The White House contender also says she hopes to see Congress pass the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act which seeks to prohibit abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy based on evidence that 20-week-old fetuses are viable outside the womb and capable of feeling pain.

White House press secretary Josh Earnest said Monday that the Obama administration will not consider stripping Planned Parenthood of its federal funds, despite demands by GOP leaders for a congressional probe into the organization.

I'm proud to join pro-life leaders from across the country in responding to the latest despicable and outrageous news from Planned Parenthood.Posted by Carly Fiorina on Tuesday, July 21, 2015
