OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin will address the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla., later this month, party officials announced Tuesday.

Falling was among a second group of convention speakers announced by Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus. He also said former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, U.S. Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, and former U.S. Sen. and presidential candidate Rick Santorum will speak at the Aug. 27-30 event.

"As our party unites around Governor Romney, these four great leaders will lend their voices in support of his vision to get America back on track," Priebus said in a statement.

Fallin endorsed Romney in May, even though Santorum won Oklahoma's presidential primary election in March.

"In Oklahoma, we work to make government serve the people and not the other way around," Fallin said in a statement. "Our next president has to share this same commitment and that is why I am so proud to be a part of the Republican National Convention to officially nominate Mitt Romney."

Fallin previously spoke at the 2008 Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minn., when she was a member of Congress.

Fallin spokesman Alex Weintz said the date and time of Fallin's speech hasn't been determined, but he said the governor likely will tout Oklahoma's growing economy and low unemployment rate during her speech.

"They haven't asked us yet to speak on a particular topic, but that would be a natural fit," Weintz said. "Gov. Fallin has a great record when it comes to job creation in Oklahoma, with one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country.

"I think it's good for the state when she can get out there and talk about what she's doing to bring more jobs and development to Oklahoma."

The first round of speakers announced on Monday include South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley; former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee; Ohio Gov. John Kasich; New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez; U.S. Sen. John McCain of Arizona; former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice; and Florida Gov. Rick Scott.
