DUNDALK, Md. (AP) — Baltimore County Police say a Dundalk man faces a charge of first-degree murder in the stabbing death of his roommate.

The Baltimore Sun (bsun.md/ReVoCt) reports that 20-year-old Edwin Iglesias-Reyes was charged Tuesday in the slaying of 26-year-old Victor Portillo-Portillo.

Police say the men got into a fight Monday at their home on Scarsdale Road.

They say Iglesias-Reyes stabbed his roommate multiple times and then fled. They say a blood trail led from the basement to a knife in the rear alley.

Iglesias-Reyes is being held without bail.
