WASHINGTON (AP) — Prince George's County police say the death of a District of Columbia woman found in a creek has been ruled a homicide.
The body of 22-year-old Shavon Phillips was found in a creek in Fort Washington on Aug. 1. Police said Tuesday that Phillip's death has been ruled a homicide, but they did not say how she was killed.
Authorities have said Phillips, of southeast Washington, was reported missing last month after she dropped off her child at a daycare center.
