Sure, Washingtonians practically barrel over tourists on the Metro (walk left, stand right, shouldn't be a hard concept) and really love the sound of their own car horns, but do we really deserve this honor? No. 5 -- Travel & Leisure's ranking for Washington on the magazine's list of rudest American cities. Who's ruder? Los Angeles came in at No. 1, followed by New York City, Philadelphia and Miami. The publication asked readers to rate 35 cities on 54 features including personality of the locals, restaurants and hotels.
