President Obama could have a new job as a Buddhist monk, if the Dalai Lama has any influence.

Interviewed by Larry King for his show "PoliticKING" on Ora TV, the Tibetan monk said that Obama "looks like a monk," and also that "I love him."

His comments came at the end of a sequence of questions on his thoughts of world leaders.

King: What do you think of President Obama?

Dalai Lama: Oh, nice.

King: Have you met him?

Dalai Lama: Oh Yes. Few occasions. Since first meeting, you see, I sorta jokingly express his sort of appearance. He looks like a monk. You see — very short hair. And his face also looks like, you see —

King: Ears.

Dalai Lama: Yes. As a distinguished monk like that. I love him.
