UNCASVILLE, Conn. (AP) — Another Las Vegas executive is headed to eastern Connecticut to help boost business at an Indian-run casino.
Mohegan Sun announced on Wednesday that Brian Bork, who was most recently chief marketing officer at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, will be chief marketing officer. He will lead and oversee marketing, advertising and entertainment activities.
In June, Foxwoods Resort Casino announced the appointment of a former Las Vegas marketing executive to develop advertising for its neighboring casino. Foxwoods, owned by the Mashantucket Pequot Indian tribe, appointed Robert O'Keefe as vice president of brand and advertising.
Foxwoods CEO Scott Butera, who was appointed in November 2010, had been president and chief executive of Las Vegas-based Tropicana Entertainment Inc.
