CNN will host an inaugural town hall for Green Party presidential nominee Dr. Jill Stein and running mate Ajamu Baraka on August 17.
The live one-hour question and answer broadcast will take place in New York and be carried by CNN, CNN International and CNN en Espanol. A moderator has yet to be determined.
The cable news network announced the program late Wednesday during the second town hall for Libertarian candidates former Govs. Gary Johnson and Bill Weld.
A CNN/ORC poll released Tuesday had Stein polling at 5 percent nationally. In order to be included in the presidential debates later this year, she would have to reach 15 percent.
The town hall will air Wednesday, Aug. 17 at 9 p.m. EST.
