Cleveland Cavaliers guard Delonte West is scheduled for a plea hearing Thursday, following his 2009 arrest on weapons charges.

Maryland court records show that a plea hearing is scheduled. A spokesman for the State's Attorney's Office in Prince George's County confirmed the hearing, but said he could not comment further before the plea is entered.

Police said West was speeding on his motorcycle and cut off an officer on the Capital Beltway in September 2009. A search of the vehicle found two loaded handguns, a loaded shotgun and a knife, prosecutors said.

A Prince George's County grand jury indicted West on six weapons charges and two traffic offenses in November 2009.
