Somebody forgot the booster stool for “Kayla,” a campaign supporter who introduced Michelle Obama at a event in North Carolina today.

As Kayla approached the podium, the audience could not see her head, as it was clearly adjusted for the First Lady who is much taller.

Undaunted, the woman delivered her introduction, while the cameras focused on what appeared to be an empty podium. Once the First Lady took the stage however, it was clear that it was designed just for her.

“I want to thank Kayla for that very kind introduction,” Obama said. “She told me she was going to get you fired up and ready to do, and that’s what she did.”
