The ex-boyfriend of a former Washington Redskins cheerleader who has been missing for nearly a month has been charged with murder, according to jail records.
Authorities have been looking for Las Vegas showgirl Debbie Flores-Narvaez, 31, since she disappeared Dec. 12. She was an ambassador for the Redskins' cheerleaders in 2007 and 2008, and appeared at games and interacted with fans in the stands.
Clark County Nevada Detention Center records show her former boyfriend, 32-year-old Jason O. Griffith, is in custody and was charged with murder on Saturday.
Police confirmed to the Las Vegas Sun that an arrest had been made in Flores-Narvaez's case, but did not release further details.
The couple reportedly had a violent confrontation in October. Police previously said Griffith was cooperating in the investigation but was not a suspect in the dancer's disappearance.
It wasn't immediately clear whether her body had been found.
