Expect Constitution Avenue to be shut down to vehicle traffic on Sunday as the Boy Scouts of America descends upon D.C. to celebrate its 100th anniversary in events leading up to the 2010 National Scout Jamboree in Fort A.P. Hill, Va.

The scouts’ Grand Centennial Parade will march down Constitution Avenue between 7th and 17th Streets on Sunday at 1 p.m. Nearly 10,000 Boy Scouts are expected to participate.

The scouts will also host the traveling exhibit Adventure Base 100 on the National Mall through Aug. 8. The exhibit features hands-on activities to tell the story of BSA’s 100-year history.
