D.C. police have identified the man whose body was found in Southeast Washington as 54-year-old Ibrahim Musa of Northeast Washington.

Around 3 p.m. on Aug. 18, police responded to the 1900 block of Curtis Court SE for a report of an unconscious person and found Musa. An autopsy revealed that Musa died from "multiple blunt impact injuries" and the death was ruled a homicide.

Police did not know how long Musa had been dead before his body was found.

D.C. police offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction in Musa's death.
