BALTIMORE (AP) — Baltimore police have identified a man who was shot and wounded after he fired a gun in the direction of officers.
Police identified the man as 27-year-old Oba Mitchiner of Baltimore. Baltimore police say officers responded to a report of gunfire about 10 p.m. Friday and found an man who appeared to be firing shots outside the home of a woman he knew. Police say the man was shot after he fired in the direction of hte officers.
The Baltimore Sun reported Sunday (http://bsun.md/PgTC4o) that Mitchiner lives in same block as the shooting scene. Mitchiner was reported in serious but stable condition following the shooting.
