May 1, 2015: The release date for "Avengers 2," the sequel to this year's mega hit "Marvel's The Avengers." Deadline was the first to report the new date. Director Joss Whedon just signed an exclusive deal with Marvel Studios through June 2015. Prior to the release of the sequel , there will be "Iron Man 3," "Thor 2," "Captain America 2" and another yet-to-be-named movie set for release in 2014.
