The Arlington Street People’s Assistance Network will be out in force today counting the number of homeless people in Arlington County.

Despite the inclement weather, teams will conduct surveys in various locations across the county throughout the day. The survey will help Arlington measure how well the county is conducting its homeless services, officials told the Sun Gazette.

Ron Sims, deputy secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, will reportedly take part in the survey in the evening.
