Given that the country is still reeling from a mass shooting in Tucson that left Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords critically wounded and six others dead, it's probably not the best timing for anti-Wal-Mart group to employ a bull's-eye in its fight against the big box giant.
A group calling itself "Wal-Mart Free D.C." has slapped a bullseye with Wal-Mart's signature smiley face at its center on a flyer advertising a protest outside the home of developer who has said he's talking to Wal-Mart about the rights to build a store in the District.
The group's website gives out Dick Knapp's address and asks protestors to gather outside his home at 7:30 p.m. Thursday night. Wal-Mart Free D.C.'s slogan is "No Wal-Mart, No Compromise."
Wal-Mart Free D.C. might want to let the police know they're coming and they probably shouldn't wear masks, or this new D.C. law could have them sitting in a jail cell before they can get their point across.
