A fourth person was found dead in Prince George's County late Tuesday.
The killings occurred in separate incidents.
Shortly before midnight, police responded to the 4100 block of Norcross Street in Temple Hills for the sound of gunshots and found several shooting victims, one of whom was dead, police said.
Police do not know whether the shooting was related to any of the other three slayings Tuesday, all which happened before 8 a.m. Two of the killings were in Fort Washington, and police told The Washington Examiner that they might be connected. The Washington Post reported that two of the victims had duct tape over their mouths, and one may have had his throat slit.
