Police are investigating the abduction of a 2-year-old boy from Prince George’s County.

An Amber Alert was issued for Aaron Gamez of Adelphi on Saturday. He was reported missing Friday afternoon. His mother told authorities that her ex-boyfriend abducted Gamez in front of the Mount Vernon Metro station in D.C., Prince George’s County Police said.

Gamez is Hispanic, about 3 feet tall and weighs 40 pounds. He has curly hair and was last seen wearing a red shirt and long blue pants.

Police identified the suspect as Jose Alex Turciso, 22. He is Hispanic, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, 195 pounds and was last seen wearing a cream-colored shirt and blue jeans, police said. He has a ponytail and a tattoo on the left side of his neck that says “LIDIA” and a tattoo on his right forearm that reads “ICE.”

Police said Turciso is driving a 1999 Nissan Sentra with the Maryland license plate 5FJE91.
