About 450 Pepco customers are still without power, five days after Wednesday’s snowstorm.

The company said 180,000 customers lost power in the storm.

Clay Anderson, a spokesman for Pepco, said most of the remaining outages are in Montgomery County, though D.C. still has 12 customers without electricity and Prince George’s County has two.

Anderson said “an underground situation” in Bethesda near the Grosvenor Metro station is the reason 250 customers are without power Monday.

The company is bracing for Tuesday’s expected snowfall by keeping the mutual assistance crews from outside the area on hand, though Anderson said Pepco is optimistic the storm won’t affect residents as harshly.

“We’re hoping that it’s not severe in nature,” he said.

Dominion said all of its 195,000 customers in Northern Virginia who lost electricity in the storm have had their power restored.
