LAUREL, Md. (AP) — Howard County police say a 20-year-old Laurel man has been charged with second-degree homicide in a stabbing death at a mobile park home.
Police say Robert Tasker was also charged with manslaughter, assault, reckless endangerment and carrying a concealed dangerous weapon in the death of 46-year-old Robert Lynn Foster of Savage.
Police say they were called to the 10000 block of North 2nd Street for the report of an assault about 7:15 p.m. Thursday. Authorities say they arrived to find Foster lying near the entrance of a mobile park home with stab wounds. He was taken to Laurel Regional Hospital, where was pronounced dead.
Authorities say witnesses told them that Tasker and Foster knew each other and had been involved in a verbal argument that turned into physical altercation.
